The Humber  Light Reconnaissance Car MkIII/IIIa history is here

The model is from DDG3D models (David Williams owner) and is absolutely beautiful, the printing is very fine, and the small parts are perfectly modeled and printed, with no printing lines. Honestly, I had a lot of trouble with the model3dint Fiat Spaag kit, but I really enjoyed this one. The assembly is straightforward, and there are several versions offered. There are several options: wheels turned or straight, Bren gun with or without a drum magazine, different radio options, etc. David included extra parts for the smallest ones just in case, which is a nice touch. I just made a few modifications: the locks on the side storage boxes, the radiator cap surround needs to be corrected, and I lowered the rear suspension given all the extra equipment I added. I also think it adds realism to the vehicle. In many photos, you see the vehicle literally overloaded with bags, crates, tarpaulins, etc. All these elements are NOT CURRENTLY PERMANENTLY fixed (only held in place with putty) to facilitate painting. This one will be presented in Italy, an unjustly forgotten theater of operations. The story is that a Humber LRC has stopped, the crew delighted to have stumbled upon a great opportunity: bottles of Italian wine abandoned on the side of the road!! The 56th Recce is heading towards Reggio Calabria and then on to Crotone and Taranto, then Foggia. It’s just before Taranto that we find them making this great discovery.
