Lancia 1Z/1ZM history is here

Hello all, here is the 1/35 lancia 1zm from crielmodel, ref 101. The model is very pleasant to build in contrast to early models of this manufacturer. The cost is reasonable for a resin, the quality is good with no bubbles or distortions, the number of pieces is limited (about 20), which allows quick assembly. One can then enjoy painting.

The model first receives a coat of gray primer than a pre-shadowing mixture of mat black and dark brown is sprayed on all hollows and reliefs. The base color is the classic tamiya desert sand thinned with mat white sprayed in very thin layers so as the pre-shading can appear. Thin strips of red brown very dilute are then sprayed in the form of noodles. Then several filters in burnt umber and raw umber, the angles of the vehicle are also treated with a brush and some pigments ended the patina. The plate is made with a color printer.

The figure comes from the Brach models range. Enthusiasts are familiar with the exceptional quality of their models. It is painted with acrylics for the uniform and oils for the face and hands.

This model represents a vehicle belonging to the CCCXII tank battalion in the mediterranean island of  Rhodes before its destruction by the germans after the italian surrender of september 1943.
