The Renault 1914 Armored Car history is here

Dan Silvestru from Dan Models is a model enthusiast from Romania. He casted very original WWI armored cars models in resin at a time when Copper State models did not exist. One of his first kits was the 1914 Renault armored car. When opening the ox, one find numerous pieces, some of which very small. The quality is good although there is some defects on few pieces. A CD presented the different assembly steps in the form of photos of the model already assembled, so it was not a kit to be put into hands of a beginner because there were no successive assembly steps as with a classic plastic kit. You have to take your time and study the photos carefully before getting started. The kit assembles well but some modifications have been made, they are indicated with arrows in the photos. The soldiers are marine riflemen which are modifications of commercial figurines because these did not exist at the time.
