The D-8 armored car history is here

The 1/35 D-8 model is produced by FCmodeltrend, a well-known Spanish brand owned by Federico Collada in Valencia. Note that this model is also produced in 1/48 and 1/72 scale. Like all 3D printed models, the model is presented on a resin plate and requires to be separated from all its printing pads slowly. Note that it is better to first separate the model and possibly pass the model under UV if necessary to finish hardening the resin afterwards because a relative flexibility of the resin will allow less “breaking” of material during separation. The print quality looks excellent even if one can note some fine print streaks on the side walls, we must hope that this will disappear with the primer paint otherwise, we will have to resolve to sanding which is never pleasant and always a dangerous game. The low number of parts allows for quick assembly, the finesse is absolutely superb, especially for the headlight wiring and wheel spokes, I had two damaged wheels but which were kindly returned to me by fcmodeltrend, very professional!!. The figurine is from the Sarmat Resin brand, a Russian brand.
